The IPL Governing Counseling of BCCI has announced the complete schedule of IPL 2021 (IPL 2021) on Sunday. Last month the auction was held for the 14th season of the league, after which the fans were waiting for the schedule.

The 14th season of the IPL will begin in Chennai from April 9. At the same time, the final match of the league will be played on 30 May at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The last season of the league was played in the UAE. The league is making a comeback in India with this season.

The first match of the season will be played on 9 April between the defending champions Mumbai Indians, captained by Rohit Sharma and Royal Challengers Bangalore, captained by Virat Kohli. At the same time, all the playoff matches of the league and the final match will be played on 30 May at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Only four league matches will be played

A total of 56 matches will be played in the league. 10-10 matches will be played in Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru. At the same time, 8-8 matches will be played in Delhi and Ahmedabad. The special thing of this time tournament is that no team will play a match on home ground. All the teams will play their matches on the neutral venue. This time 11 double headed matches will be played. The first match of the double header match will start from 03:30 pm, while the second match will be played in the evening from 07:30 pm.

The IPL schedule has been designed in such a way that each team has to travel only three times during the league round to reduce the risk of corona. The opening matches will be held without fans.

However, a decision will be taken again later. The previous season of IPL started in September due to Corona and was played in the UAE instead of India. During that time the teams were in strict quarantine and at the same time the matches were played without the audience. Expected this season

Viewers can be allowed in the final match. The Pink Ball Test between India and England was also played in the presence of spectators at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
