‘Gorkha’ new movie poster released
Akshay Kumar new film Gorkha Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has announced his new film. Akshay is in the list of stars who shoot back to back. Currently, some of Akshay’s films are ready for release and some of them have completed their shooting. At the same time, there are some whose shooting is going on. Now in the midst of all this, Akshay has released the poster of his upcoming film Gorkha. In the poster, he will be seen playing the role of war hero Major General Ian Cardozo.
After Atrangi Re and Raksha Bandhan, Aanand L Rai’s Color Yellow Productions and Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films have once again joined hands. They have come together for a biopic based on the life of Major General Ian Cardozo, a legendary officer of the Indian Army’s Gorkha Regiment (5th Gorkha Rifles). The film will be directed by National Award winner Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan. According to the information received, the makers have expressed pride in bringing this story of sacrifice and valor on the screen.
Talking about Akshay, he will play the role of a great war hero who fought in 1962, 1965 and especially in Indo-Pakistan war of 1971. On the other hand, Major General Ian Cardozo said, “I am honored. To share this story on the 50th anniversary of the 1971 war. It is a reminder of the courage and sacrifice of the Armed Forces of India. I am looking forward to working with Aanand and Akshay as they are bringing it to life.”
