Mumbai : Smartphone maker Gionee on Monday unveiled its new budget smartphone ‘Gionee Max Pro’ at Rs 6,999 in the Indian market. Pradeep Jain, MD of JIPL, which manages Gionee in India, said in a statement that the company was looking at manufacturing products at affordable prices. It also includes Gionee’s entry level smartphones. “We are confident that our Gionee Max Pro will meet the digital needs of today’s generation,” he said. However, this budget smartphone equipped with Gionee’s full view drop display key has a 6.52-inch HD screen. This super smart phone has 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM (internal storage space), which can be expanded up to 256GB. The Gionee Max Pro also has a long lasting 6000 mAh battery. For users, it offers 60 hours of calling, 34 days of standby, 115 hours of music, 12 hours of gaming and 13 hours of Bing movie viewing. In addition, many other features have been given.
This smartphone has many features like Face Unlock, Google Assistant. The phone is available in three colors – Black, Red and Blue. With this, Gionee Max Pro customers can buy the new Google Nest Mini Smart Speaker from Flipkart at a discount of Rs 2,499.
Dual camera setup
The phone also comes with a 13MP plus 2MP (mega pixel) dual rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. Gionee claims that the rear-facing dual-camera setup supports Auto HDR, Bokeh effect, Slow-motion mode and Panama mode. Video recordings can be made up to 30fps supported by the rear camera. This camera has features like portrait mode and HDR.
The Gionee Max Pro offers 2.5D curved glass protection. This smartphone currently runs on Android 10. Android 11 software for the phone may be rolled out soon, but the company has not released any unofficial information about it. The Gionee Max Pro is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor. The phone has 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, as well as 256GB microSD support on the dedicated slot. The phone supports LTE network.
